This miniseries basically serves as a rushed ending to Christina Z's planned storyline for Witchblade, which had to be cut short when the book's creative team was replaced. The events depicted in this miniseries are never referenced in the main book, and aspects of it (such as Nottingham's origin) were contradicted in the main book within a year. Therefore, Witchblade: Destiny's Child can be considered to be out of continuity.
