Summary
Writer Jamie Delano, who chronicled John Constantines adventures when Hellblazer was first released, returned to the character for a 4 part mini series, with art by Phillip Bond. Bad Blood was a dark comedy set in 2025 that followed an aging Constantines attempts to save his friend Dolly from being touted by makers of a reality TV show as the true heir to the British throne. A satirical take on modern society, the series ended on Dolly revealing she was pregnant with Constantines child, giving him the option of seeing his offspring become Britains ruler.
